The Concept

Welcome to The Trove, a creative collaboration between friends.  Each of us expressed an interest in owning a retail store, but couldn't meet the demands of running individual brick and mortar shops on our own. So, we did what friends do and decided to share! While we each get to be independent in our unique visions, we share the burdens - and the fun. We all have different tastes and talents but what we do have in common is a discerning eye and a passion for sourcing just the right pieces and lines.

We source locally, across the country and from each corner of the globe.  We are travelers at heart and have made trips to Thailand, Turkey, France, England and beyond and count Chicago and LA among our many favorite national haunts. But so many of our best items are found in our very own corner of northeastern Indiana. Reclaimed barn wood made into au courant pieces of furniture, jewelry and sculpture from local artists, stylish clothing and accessories - we have it all.   

Roanoke holds a particular fascination for us.  Whether fond childhood memories of the soda fountain in Grandpa’s drug store or riding bikes through country roads to come to the farm markets on Saturday mornings, Roanoke takes us back to an easier bucolic time. Opening a store in a town where people walk to the post office and bike to the park fits our vibe.  Relaxed and friendly, we want to be the best of the Midwest!
