Tania Rodamilans

It's clear we Trovesters are obsessed with great jewelry. From classic styles to statement pieces, and at all price points, we love to stock the coolest and most unique pieces in the land. Our most recent jewelry crush is Tania Rodamilans. Originally from Barcelona, Spain, we ran across Rodamilans in her current city of Chicago, one of our favorite haunts.

Rodamilans' current collection features necklaces with interesting details, pieces that have the power to transform a simple t shirt into a look. With our penchant for neutral, clean cut staples, these pieces add just the dash of pizzazz we want each day.

Come to The Trove to check out what we have in store and then mark June 6th - 8th in your calendar for Rodamilans' trunk show.

A Look Back @ Spring Fling

On March 10th we Trovesters took part in a fashion show along with our friends at The North End, Fort Wayne Outfitters and Joseph Decuis. Powers of One hosted a wonderful  yoga class before the luncheon and runway show. After the event, we were treated to trunk shows by Fort Wayne Outfitters and Beija-Flor Jeans and a mini pop-up shop from FoxSea Skin. We had an absolute blast and our most sincere thanks go out to our fabulous models and all who made the event a smashing success!

Jean Therapy

Our quest for great jeans has been lifelong. Yes, we all know the struggle is real. But in denim brand beija-flor (pronounced beige-ah-floor), we've found some of the softest, most flattering denim around.

A mother-daughter duo founded the brand, inspired by figure-flattering styles seen on stylish ladies while living in Brazil. The team at beija-flor creates luxuriously lightweight denim that works with a woman's curves. The jeans come in universally flattering cuts with strategic stitching, illusion washes and perfectly placed pockets for those oh-so sought after slimming effects. Who wouldn't love THAT??

The entire line features wrinkle-free and breathable fabrics that keep you cool throughout the day that are also water-resistant, to boot! Each pair features "bounce-back memory stretch" which helps battle the dreaded gapping at the waist.

Our selection of beija-flor jeans will be gracing some of the models at the Spring Fling fashion show and luncheon on Thursday, March 10th. Get more details about this fantastic event here

Come try on your perfect pair at our beija-flor trunk show at The Trove on March 10th & 11th and we'll give you a free gift! Purchase a pair and you get another free gift! We'll even be open at 9:30am on Friday, March 11th for those of you with school drop off/pick up schedules to consider.

While in Roanoke, stop by The North End on March 10th from 1-3pm & March 11th from 10-2pm for their Blanc Noir and Vignorella trunk shows. It's an absolute fashion frenzy in #thenoke this month!

Cozy & Comfy Gifts for the Holidays

The Roanoke Holiday Gift Extravaganza is coming up this weekend and there'll be so much fun to be had in #thenoke. From complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides, courtesy of Joseph Decuis, to specials in many of the boutiques and gobs of delicious vittles from the restaurants and bakeries, you'll be so happy to kick off your holiday shopping in our little corner of Indiana.

At The Trove, we'll have TONS of new merchandise as well as holiday trims and hostess gifts for your upcoming celebrations. In our gorgeous barn (if we may say so ourselves) we'll be featuring two local brands known for their oh-so-soft and cushy, cute goods.

KIND uses cashmere and merino wool to create one of a kind gifts, toys and accessories while Two Elle's creates unique cuddly dolls and Tooth Fairy pillows.

Spend this Saturday in #thenoke and come see us in that gorgeous barn we're always going on and on about...

Aurora Borealis Designs

The simple things in life are sometimes the sweetest...a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream, the downy soft fur of a cuddly puppy or a walk on the beach, to name a few. The latter happens to serve as inspiration for designer Annie McFarlane, of Aurora Borealis Designs. Based in Leland, Michigan, McFarlane works in sterling silver, using found objects from her walks like Leland bluestones, Petoskey stones and luminous beach glass.

The collection is comprised of unique, organically shaped pieces, the final product informed by the stones themselves, which are "tumbled by nature, never by man!" McFarlane's passion for beautiful and charming Leland is evident in all her pieces, the process giving her a way to "capture a beach walk and release it into the designs."

The Aurora Borealis Designs studio is located on the Harbor in Leland and is a popular stop for those in search of an elegant memento of their time in the area. If there's a more stylish way to take the stunning beauty of the beach with you, no matter where you may roam, we haven't heard of it.

Come meet Annie McFarlane and view the latest Aurora Borealis Designs collection on May 9th from 11a to 5p. Linger a bit longer in Roanoke for the Style & Charm event, featuring special promotions from many area boutiques like Katharos Art & Gift, Rescued Relics and more.

Toast & Dragon Trunk Show

One of the things we love most at The Trove is introducing our customers to unique, handcrafted jewelry from talented artisans. We jump at the chance to throw trunk shows that enable us to offer not only even more amazing treasures but to host the passionate people behind the brands. This month, we're more than thrilled to present Toast & Dragon, by Boston-based fine jewelry designer, Denise Fenoglio.

Toast & Dragon celebrates the beauty of nature, conveyed via fine metals and gems, in organic shapes, colors and textures. Informed by her time living in France and her extensive European and Middle Eastern travels, along with her studies at the prestigious North Bennet Street School in Boston's historic North End, Fenoglio has created a gorgeous collection of feminine and expressive pieces. The designer chooses her materials from ethical and environmentally-sound sources and uses natural, non-enhanced precious and semi-precious gems in her designs. She finds inspiration for each one-of-a-kind piece from the stones themselves and looks to nature to inform the silhouette and final details.

Jewelry is more than just stylish adornment - it is deeply personal and can be a reflection of who we truly are. Along with treasured pieces from our jewelry boxes come stories about their origin, some passed down through generations. We hope you'll join us for this wonderful event with Denise and Toast & Dragon and perhaps add a new piece, and a new story, to your collection.

Meet Denise Fenoglio and experience Toast & Dragon on April 23rd from 1p to 8p, with wine and hors d'ouevres starting at 5p.
